Hi,

I've just upgraded my server to the latest version (6.1.1.2). Everything seems to work fine, but people who logs into the system through the Windows Client can't login since the software ask them to update. When they proceed to client upgrade it fails with message: Error in remote server: (403) Forbidden.
Web clients can access with no problems, the Windows client version is 5.3.0.7.

I did already set permissions on the webserver to the chmod parameters indicated on the FAQ, even tried setting everything inside the livezilla folder to chmod 777 to avoid permission issues but the problem persists. If I check the Apache server log I get the following warnings:

But I think this could be an isolated issue since these log events are not being throwed when the client attempts to login.

Any hints about how could I repair it?

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

The update and activation server were down for several hours but everything is up and running again now. Can you try to update the clients again?

As a matter of course, you can also download the setup files manually from our download section.

Thanks for your reply, Patrick.

The error 403 persist but we updated successfully our client by downloading the MSI package from the website as you told me.
Just as an additional comment, the link of the Client Only executable (the other than the MSI) seems to fail as it redirects to the homepage.

Thank you!

Thanks for this valuable information. We fixed the broken link of the client file today.
