Hi I'm attempting to upgrade our LiveZilla installation. However we have a system where it has one server but more than one database.

On attempting to upgrade the installation it says we cannot have this any more. So I was looking at the idea of having the singe server serving more than one website and using different domain name than the one we use now for use for all the different site. I think you call this option a meaning less domain.

If I upgrade, can I change the domain name after and does the server need to reside on the said domain used.

Thanks

Hi,

If you upgrade your server, it will downgrade the installation from multiserver to a single server with the root's database attached automatically.

You should be able to recycle the sub-site's MySQL databases as well. When you set up server #2, #3 you can select the existing database of sub-site #2 and #3 and so on.

Keep in mind that each LiveZilla 6.x PRO license is good for 5 separate servers.
