New Feature (General): Chats will not be disconnected when overtaking an operator account from other device (Status: 0%)
this function is essential for the tool, no mobility if not versatile
thanks

We don't want users to appear online in our API script outside the opening hours and when starting a chat, users are not able to chat with them (because in the chat window they appear offline). We hope that the new working day lenght is tied to the operator, so we can access it via API call.
Ist diese Annahe richtig?

There's no "preview version" yet. Will will announce when a BETA has been made available.
I'm afraid that the changes we made will only affect the reports and not the API.
Opening hours are configured for groups and Operators can be member of multiple groups so the Opening Hours will not affect the Operators Online Status. The online status of the API reflects the status configured by the Operator in the client, no further configurations will apply here.
If you know your own opening hours, why not adjusting your own script accordingly?
Thanks.

I think there should be an group object accessible via API.
Also, in case that all members of one group are offline and one or more members of the other group are online, how come that when a visitor tries to write a message to a member of the group that's all offline he/she get's directed to a chatwindow with the online member of that other group (and still get's to see the image of the offline member at first [with an online icon right next to it!]). In my php code, I'm using this javascript in the href echoing my link:
javascript:void(window.open('".$livezillaURL.$obj->Operator->ChatFile."','','width=850height=760,left=50%,top=50%'))

The 100% just indicates that actual programming job is done.
It doesn't necessarily mean that the feature has been tested and is ready for public yet.
As stated above, release date is december.

Thanks!

That's a good thing... I downloaded earlier and ran into a major issue as can be seen in the INSTALLATION forum.. now I am without anything since going back to 5.3.0.8 is not working either..

Please keep in mind that this version can't be considered as stable yet.
Thanks.

Now that we fixed the incompatibility issue with your server, you could also try the latest setup of 5.4.x.
You would need to run the upgrade wizard again and there's a good chance that you are able to continue where you had to stop last time.

I've meant to ask this before... how do we know when you release a new beta version?
Thanks
