Hi,

I wonder if it is possible to:

1) Make it mandatory to enter name, email and question before starting a chat
2) Pull relevant entries from the knowledge-base while typing the question based on the text entered

Apparently both are possible.
The live chat button on Livezilla website is configured just the way I want it to be (see linked image). But I can't find how to set the chat like that.
Any help?

Sorry, I misunderstood your last post. It seemed you figured it our yourself.

See here:

and

and

Server Configuration -> Knowledge Base -> Search

Cheers.

Hi Patrick, thank you for your reply.

I could make name, email and question mandatory by setting the Fields in User Management > Groups

But knowledge base popup is not triggering when I'm entering question. Here are the settings:
  • Server Settings -> Knowledge Base -> Search -> Both options are checked
  • Knowledge base articles made public, also available for virtual assistance.
  • Link Generator -> On-Site Chat Overlay Widget V2 -> Knowledge Base checked, Complete Knowledge Base checked
I am using words contained in KB article, title and tags. What am I missing?

Also, I have only 1 article in my knowledge base for testing purposes.
Do I need a minimum number of articles for this to be triggered?

There's no such minimum.

Please check (and double check) resources listed above, you must have missed something.
