Hello,
pardon, I think that a new thread about this is useful.

The problem is:
https://www.livezill...t/widgetapi/en/

Cookie Opt-Out
If you have cookies configured to be "Opt-Out", this call removes all cookies and ensures that no further cookies will be set.
LiveZilla.OptOutCookies();

when you do this it sets a lz_no_cookie
and you can't revert this by the opposite function LiveZilla.OptInCookies();

because, probably, if it finds the lz_no_cookie it doesn't allow to set the cookie again.

So, although it could be true that a user at first chose to opt-out,
at the same time, eg. it could be an error by clicking on a link, just a test to see if it really works and so on...

so, just in case he wants to opt-in again, why should you force him to delete the cookies or wait for x days (you set in the app settings) before being recognized by the livezilla cookies?

At this point, or by settings you let the app user choose an option to set a non HttpOnly cookie or, please, try to change those functions in a way that when you run LiveZilla.OptInCookies(); after an opt-out, by clicking on something, the user can opt-in again as usual.

Thanks, Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I have added this to our list for update 8.0.1.4 coming later this month.

Cheers.
