Hi,

We are working on embedding Livezilla to one of our interfaces. Creating conversations and sending messages are very convenient since version 8.

However we have questions regarding to termination of chat;
  • Is it possible to terminate conversation from client side?
  • If termination from client side is possible, how can we notify livezilla operator?
  • Which db field / service endpoint denotes the conversation is terminated/exited by livezilla operator and how can we update client side?

Thanks,
Utku

Hi Utku,

Currently, there's no way to terminate a session from customer side.

We have this on our list for one of the next updates.

Cheers.

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a way to check if the conversation is terminated? (via api or over db tables)

I couldn't find anything on API docs, however I can see that on `visitor_chats` table there are several fields like `external_active` or `internal_active`. How can we utilize the information on this fields? Are these reliable fields in terms of conversation status?

Thanks,
Utku

Not yet, no.

We will try to add this function asap, it's on our list for the very next update now.

Cheers.
