In other popular chat apps like Intercom and Drift, you can set up a series of automated messages to appear on specific pages of a site, even if no operators are online.

I know this is possible via events but this only works if an human operator account is online. I'd like my chat invite messages to appear even when operators are offline so that anyone who responds will just be directed to the "Leave a message" section.

What can I do?

Thanks, Patrick. Can offline leave messages in v8 be different per page? or is it like the eye-catcher tool that only lets you show one message for all pages?

Yes, you can configure different invites, there's a URL trigger condition for multi page scenario.
