Hello,

I've changed the .htaccess file and enable SEO friendly knowledge base URLs, but I still don't see any friendly URLs for the knowledge base.

What am I missing?

Hi,

Thanks for testing this new feature.

Is mod_rewrite activated on your webserver?

Thanks for the URL. It works fine.

Just rename your ids as described here:

 sorry, I missed that part:
  • Finally, you can change the ID in each public knowledge database entry

It works great!

Thank you.

Patrick, one more question.

How can I change the Knowledge base URL (mydomain.com/knowledge-base/) to something else for example mydomain.com/support/?

Thank you.

Regards

Hi,

The folder name is "hard-coded" in the .htaccess file, you should be able to change it.

Cheers.

Thanks, I will take a look.

Btw, can the root folder point to knowledge base? Example, mylivezilla.com points to KB and not to default page like now.

Thank you for your reply.

Also, I've figured out the redirect in .htaccess, but now I can not use the SEO friendly URL. I change the ID, hit Save, but when I open it I can see the ID is not changed.

EDIT: uh oh, now I see, the URL is too long. But it's not, can you please allow a bit longer?
