Hello community,

we are just about to start with livezilla. We have 50+ clients. Now I do not understand how you do the App rollout.
I can hardly believe we are the only ones who need a feature to silently auto-install the client. Can anyone offer some inspiration how to go with it?
We are using GPO or WPP over WSUS for such tasks.

Will App 1.2 offer setup switches?

Thank you,

Hi Thomas,

You can add /S (case sensitive) to your setup call to activate silent mode.

Please note that 99% of the functionality comes from the server and the app (which is actually just a frame) is forward compatible. Usually, it's sufficient to update the server and the client will "update" automatically.

Client APP updates will be rare and optional.

Thank you Patrick,

that helped a lot.

Now I have two more things:
- how do I preset the Server-URL? Is there any file that can be distributed to users appdata?
- the '--hidden' parameter doesn't work anymore. Will it be supported again?

Have a nice weekend
