our CRM would potentially take a "POST" of the chat and message transcripts if the HTML is formatted correctly, which would be far more efficient than using the email system. POST is now a common communications method for API connectivity. has anyone implemented this as an alternative or is it on the roadmap?

Hi,

LiveZilla includes an API to create/extract information such as tickets.

Further details can be found under:

As you know this section is sorely lacking in the actual documentation. For other readers, I'd like to direct people to the actual PHP code in which all of the API calls are actually implemented:

livezilla/api/v2/objects.apiv2.inc.php It is nicely organized but has absolutely no comments.

second, for folks that are interested in implementing external triggers based upon message events, the file _lib/objects.global.inc.php actually has the places where the database is written. I believe this is a good spot to trigger an external event, such as a POST to an external server. I am currently looking at the "AddComment" and "Save" areas of the code to implement the trigger.
