Yesterday we upgraded the server component but since then we have 2 issues:
In IE (PC) Firefox, Chrome, safari (MAC) when initiating a chat request after entering name and email etc we get an error "This service is not available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
In firefox for PC we get the first screen to enter name and email BUT the name, email, and company fields appear TWICE. When entering detail and submitting we get a blank screen.
What we did:
We needed to add a new agent so we added a new group and a new agent with a new language. We selected the option to auto detect language based on the users browser. We then couldn't test as the new installation indicated that the server version was too old. We then updated the server version and got the errors above. We have since removed the new user, group, and deselected the auto detect language. Also following advice on the forum we have de selected the user statistics option.
Oddly we have received a successful chat request from a customer (only one) which lead me to believe it was a local issue so we have cleared cache etc etc etc but no change.
we normally get chat requests throughout the day but have had only the one in 24 hours suggesting the issue is bigger.
any help or suggestions please?
