On your site when operators are offline it defaults selection to leave a message like here https://s.nimbus.eve...2y4owy7fypo7wvp

However on my site it default to the grayed out chat icon instead of messages https://s.nimbus.eve...4atxypx4x2vns8d

How can I get this right?

Hi,

That's because you have deactivated the LiveZilla Ticket System.

It can't default the leave message icon as it forwards you to a different page.

Ok. Is there a way to use the message form to submit to a specified email, rather than the ticket system?

Absolutely:

LiveZilla Client -> Server Configuration -> Emails -> Tickets

Hello, thanks for my user validation.

About this issue, I can say that I did not deactivate the "Livezilla Ticket System"
and despite this, on version 7.0.8.7 when the operator is offline or away, the default remains chat (with the notification which reports the operators as absent) instead of message.

So, the user should click on the other button to send a message when offline.

On your changelog for 7.0.2.7:

7.0.2.7

2017-03-07

Facebook integration sync is now limited (7 days backwards)
User will be informed when trial period has ended
The total number of chat tabs will be shown in main panel (instead of external chats only)
Group chats report shows wrong data
Chat widget switches to ticket when all operators are "Away"
...

this should be the expected behavior, but it doesn't work this way at the moment.

Thank you very much and keep up the good work.

Hi John,

Thanks for the clarification.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this. Here's what I did:

1.) Create a new chat button code (On-Site Widget)
2.) Set operator status to away
3.) Open test page with chat button code in browser

In this test "Leave Message" is selected as it should be.

What did I miss?

Hello,
I'm on Windows APP 1.2.1 with Server 7.0.8.7

Link generator: I create a new link with On-Site Chat Overlay Widget V2

I just deselect the Knowledge Base from Services

then, even on preview, when I go away...it doesn't work, it works as I would like to start a chat, but obviously the operator is not available.
That's it

ok found

the text bubble is the culprit (eg. "Questions?...")

it works just if you click on the bottom button, but not on the bubble...
thanks

Thanks for the info, that helped a lot!

Will be fixed in 7.0.8.8.
