An admin/operator can send empty message to visitor via chat. It seems to be a bug because if you do it directly the "Send" button is disabled.

To re-produce on the Operator panel:

1) Click on the text box where you write a message
2) Write anything and then delete it
3) Once the text box is empty, press the "Send" button and a blank message is sent to visitor.

It might be a non-significant bug but it's still a bug. Hopefully it's easy to fix.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the info.

Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this (APP or chrome in LiveZilla 7.0.3.1).

Both, enter and send button, don't do anything when the input field is empty.

Hello Patrick,

I'm sorry you couldn't reproduce the error. Maybe my directions weren't as understandable.

I made a gif screenshot of the problem, hopefully you can reproduce it.

I'm using Firefox 53 on the Server UI and I'm using Chrome 58 on the Client UI.

Thanks for the clarification, it's a Firefox issue.

We will fix that asap.
